is Ambulatory Surgery?
Ambulatory
surgery is generally planned elective surgery which does not require
an overnight admission to the hospital. You will have your surgical
procedure and be discharged to home the same day. Ambulatory surgery
may also be called day surgery, outpatient surgery or same-day
surgery.
At the SurgiCenter of Baltimore we care for patients from 3 months
of age to adult. On an average day 30-40 procedures are performed.
