Stacey H. Berner, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Berner specializes in orthopaedic surgery, particularly related to sports injuries. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. Author of numerous orthopaedic articles andspeaker/consultant to several professional organizations, Dr. Berner received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and successfully completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedics at the Medical College of Virginia. He also completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Epstein specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Marc H. Gertner, M.D., F.A.C.S.

In addition to his 30+ years of general surgical experience, Dr. Gertner also is an Instructor in Surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery and author of numerous clinical papers, he received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He completed his surgical internship and residency at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as chief resident and fellow in vascular surgery.

Scott D. London, M.D., F.A.C.S.
A board certified ENT surgeon, Dr. London practices general otolaryngology with special interests in the treatment of sinusitis and nasal breathing disorders, as well as pediatrics and otology. Since beginning his practice in Baltimore, Dr. London has been instrumental in establishing and developing the Cochlear Implant Program at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Dr. London trained in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center where he published articles on the advanced treatment of sinus diseases and facial plastic reconstruction. He also is a clinical instructor with the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia undergraduate and medical schools.

Mark A. Mashburn, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Mashburn practices general otolaryngology with special interests in sinusitis, pediatrics, and facial cosmetic surgery. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University where he also completed his ENT residency. Following a post graduate fellowship in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Mashburn also served on the faculty of Loma Linda University.

Samuel O. Matz, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Matz specializes in sports medicine, specifically arthroscopic surgery and surgery to the knee and shoulder. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he also is the sports medicine director of the women's center at Carroll Hospital Center and the chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Matz received his medical degree from the University of Maryland. He successful completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland Hospital. He has published extensively in sports medicine including articles on football, women's lacrosse and weight lifting.

Douglas C. McCorkle, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. McCorkle specializes in adult and pediatric otolaryngology, head/neck/sinus surgery and audiology. Board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology, he has been practicing medicine and performing surgery in the Baltimore and Carroll County area for more then 22 years. Dr. McCorkle received his medical degree from M.D. Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. He completed his surgical internship and residency in otolaryngology at West Virginia University Medical Center.

Murray D. Pearlman, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Certified by the American Board of Gynecology, Dr. Pearlman has nearly 30 years of obstetrics experience. Most recently he was named a 2008 “Top Doc” in Obstetrics by Baltimore magazine. Active in the health care community, Dr. Pearlman serves in several leadership capacities at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, including chairman of the OB/GYN CQI Committee. He received his medial degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, and served his internship and residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Dr. Tepper specializes in orthopaedic surgery, particularly advanced, minimally invasive knee and shoulder surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and also performed a Kentucky Sports Medicine Fellowship in Lexington, KY, and training at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. A published author on sports injury topics, Dr. Tepper has worked with athletes at the Olympic, professional, collegiate and amateur level, and is the team physician for Villa Julie College.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Weiss received his ENT training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He currently serves on the practice Management Committee for the American Academy of the Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and lectures frequently across the country.
