Clinical Staff

The SurgiCenter of Baltimore has a multidisciplinary clinical staff which includes anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, nurses, surgical technologists, radiological technicians and clinical support specialists.

Operating Room Staff

The nursing staff of the SurgiCenter of Baltimore are specially prepared in operating room and/or post anesthesia nursing. Nursing care is delivered according to the guidelines of the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN), and the American Association of Operating Room Nursing (AORN), the professional organizations of nurses caring for the surgical patient. The nurses in the SurgiCenter have been qualified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Support staff include operating room technicians and clinical support specialists.

Anesthesia Staff

The Department of Anesthesia provides anesthetic care for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures. Board certified anesthesiologists provide preoperative assessment, anesthesia care during procedures, and medical management in the post anesthesia care unit. Anesthesiologists also provide medical care to patients requiring postoperative and chronic pain management. The department also provides services by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists under the supervision of Board Certified Anesthesiologists.

Our business office staff are skilled business professionals who are anxious to help you receive your maximum allowable benefits for the services we provide. They work with you, your physician and the insurance carriers to assure that billing issues are handled efficiently and appropriately.

Medical Records / Surgical Scheduling Staff

Our medical records and surgical scheduling staff are committed to maintaining your privacy by protecting the records that contain your valued medical information. They work with your physician's office to provide surgical appointments that are convenient to both you and your doctor. Appointments at the SurgiCenter of Baltimore can only be scheduled through your surgeon's office however, you may ask your doctor about your surgery being done at our Center.
